RetreatHouse is a creation made by Eva Reyes. Formally a house in Lith, a village on the river Maas in the Netherlands. Where ceremonies took place. Nowadays RetreatHouse is focus on bringing together three things.. places to stay to disconnect and rest, Nutrition, and the organization of Retreats and ceremonies to come together.
Eva is the creator of RetreatHouse and RetreatFood. She works from what she calls the golden triangle: mind, body and soul.
The symbol is a gate inside an open golden triangle. The gate stands for your own path: doors you can open, new possibilities. At its foot lies a threshold, an invitation to come in and take the leap. In the middle a plant grows up from its roots along one vertical line: growing from your centre, rooted in the earth, and the strength of plants in Eva's plant-based kitchen. The three points are mind, body and soul. Together it stands for a safe space to focus on yourself.
That you put the rushing world aside for a while, to return to your core. The house and the boats are quiet places to switch off and catch your breath, with the Maas right outside for a walk.

Eva makes everything at Retreat House from the golden triangle: mind, body and soul. From Chinese medicine she took the five elements, from her kitchen in Lith the rule that it doesn't have to be perfect.
