Terms and conditions

1. What these terms apply to

These terms apply to every offer we make and every contract that follows from it. If we deviate from them anywhere, we put that in writing.

2. Prices

All prices on this site are including VAT and excluding delivery costs. The delivery costs are: A fixed price per shipment, per country: the Netherlands € 6,95 · Belgium € 9,95 · Luxembourg € 9,95 · Germany € 8,95 · France, Spain, Italy, Austria and Denmark € 10,95 · Sweden € 11,95 · Portugal, Ireland, Poland and Greece € 12,95. You see the total you pay before you confirm your order.

If we mention a previous price with an offer, that is the lowest price we asked for that item in the thirty days before.

3. How a contract is made

The contract is made at the moment we confirm your order or assignment. You receive that confirmation by email, with these terms attached so you can keep them.

4. Payment

You can pay with: iDEAL | Wero, Credit card, Bank transfer, PayPal. If we ask for payment in advance, it is never more than half, unless agreed otherwise.

5. Delivery

We deliver to the address you provide. The usual delivery time is: I make the cacao blends to order and ship every Monday: your order goes in the post the first Monday after you place it. The Pure Plates Card Deck ships from 1 December 2026. Audio ceremonies arrive by email straight after payment. If we cannot manage that for once, we let you know; delivery never takes longer than thirty days after the order, unless we agreed a later date with you, as with a pre-order. If we do not meet the agreed term and we do not agree anything new, you may cancel the order free of charge and you get your money back within fourteen days.

Until the moment of delivery, the risk of damage or loss is ours.

6. Cooling-off period

If you are a consumer and we conclude the contract at a distance or outside our business premises, you have fourteen days to change your mind. If you want us to start within those fourteen days, that is possible if you expressly ask for it; if you then withdraw anyway, you pay proportionally for what has already been done. 7. If something is not right

What we deliver must be what you were entitled to expect. If it is not, we repair or replace it free of charge. This is your statutory right and is separate from any manufacturer's guarantee; that only comes on top, it replaces nothing.

8. Complaints

Let us know at hi@retreathouse.nl. You receive a substantive reply within fourteen days. If we need longer, we tell you within that term, with an indication of when you will get an answer.

If we cannot resolve it together, you can submit the dispute to the competent court.

9. Applicable law

Our contracts are governed by Dutch law. If you live in another EU country, you keep the protection that the mandatory rules of your own country give you.
